The project will also aim to provide adequate solutions to minimize COemissions, biodiversity reduction and external costs in Mediterranea ports, while at the same time minimizing the potential environmental impact of new infrastructure.

Nereidas head new technologies, with the aim of controlling CO2 emissions and generate organisms that can capture, thus mitigating climate change.

It uses a novel combination of biological technologies and telecommunications through the procedures accurate and tested in Melilla.
