From Barcelona to Melilla: the final structure is on its way

The final structure is ready to go.

Directly from the CIMNE lab to the Melilla Port, where with the help of all the partners, will be installed in the next days.

It’s a very important moment for the Project: it’s the result of the studies and the experience in marine biology, in Mathematical methods of simulation and in producing concrete of any category and quality.

Nereidas is also this: sinergy.

Venice Motorways of the Sea Conference

On 25 and 26 March, approximately 200 maritime stakeholders gathered in Venice for a Motorways of the Sea Conference seeking to identify challenges and discuss EU support for the maritime sector. Currently 47 projects are co-funded for their contribution to the development of the Motorways of the Sea (MoS), the maritime dimension of the EU’s ambitious transport strategy.

EU’s TEN-T programmes: initiatives and key priorities

ten-tEnvironmental protection, improved logistics interconnections, LNG (liquefied natural gas) facilities: these are the key priorities on which the European Commission is investing through the TEN-T programmes.

Over the past months the EU has rapidly increased its support in order to achieve fundamental goals like reduce the pollution deriving from the maritime sector or improve the freight traffic connections, especially in over-congested ports.

Nereidas project @ Green Port 2014: how to proceed towards CO2 compensation

The Port Authority of Melilla, with all the Nereidas’ Partners, ATISAE – C&C Medio Ambiente – CIMNE and The University of Murcia, attended with its stand the “Green Port Congress 2014” Event in Barcelona from 15th to 16th October.
